Welcome
Our school:
Welcome to Lily Lane Primary School—where every child is known, valued, and enabled to thrive.
Our vision, Learning and Succeeding Together, guides every decision we make: we pair high expectations with strong support, so there are no barriers to participation or success.
Rooted in North Manchester since 1904, we educate around 600 pupils—including a 52‑place nursery—within a vibrant community where more than 50 languages are spoken. Our Houses—Rivers, Rose, Lion, and Antelope—reflect the Manchester coat of arms and the spirit of the worker bee: proud, collaborative and relentless in the pursuit of excellence.
As part of the Changing Lives in Collaboration (CLIC) Multi‑Academy Trust, we live our values of Responsibility, Respect, Resilience, Fairness, Empathy and Kindness. Children learn to be safe and happy in both real and online worlds, understand their rights through the UNICEF Rights Respecting Charter, and build confidence and wellbeing through JIGSAW PSHE.
Inclusion is non‑negotiable at Lily Lane. Our dedicated Inclusion Team works closely with families and partners to remove barriers—across SEND, safeguarding, attendance and wider family wellbeing—so every child can access our ambitious, well‑sequenced curriculum and succeed.
Beyond the classroom, pupils flourish through sport, music, creative arts and community projects. Facilities such as our music room, parent community room and MUGA help us provide a rich, engaging offer.
It is my privilege to lead a committed staff team, united by one purpose: Learning and Succeeding Together.
